How the ‘Group Creation’ process will work before selecting seats at Nou Mestalla 

The move to the Nou Mestalla, scheduled for summer 2027, represents a historic change. To ensure that the process is as fair, orderly and transparent as possible, the Club has established membership number as the main objective criterion for determining the order in which seats will be selected. Below, we explain the entire process.

First of all, you must be a VCF Member to be part of a group. But what exactly is ‘Phase 1 – Group Creation’? It is the process that allows you to sit alongside your family, friends, supporters’ club members, etc. when watching matches at the Nou Mestalla.

This process will be 100% online and will run from 10:00 a.m. on October 14, 2026, until 12:00 p.m. on October 30, 2026. Please note that this is a fixed, non-extendable deadline. One member of the group, known as the ‘Captain,’ will create the group and will be responsible for completing the online application and representing the entire group at the subsequent in-person seat-selection appointment.

If you prefer not to join a group, you can complete the process individually, and the Club will also assign you an appointment based strictly on your membership number.

Once the deadline has passed (from October 30 onward), the system will centrally process all applications to determine the order of appointments (*explained below). You will be assigned an appointment, and you will be notified by email in advance of the exact date and time to attend ‘Phase 2 – Seat Selection’.

OBJECTIVE CRITERION: APPOINTMENT ORDER IS DETERMINED BY YOUR MEMBERSHIP NUMBER

To ensure a fair allocation, the system follows one transparent criterion: your priority is determined by your membership number. In other words, a lower membership number gives you higher priority when choosing your seats at the Nou Mestalla.

DETERMINING YOUR GROUP’S APPOINTMENT: THE AVERAGE FORMULA

The priority order for attending the in-person seat-selection appointments during ‘Phase 2 – Seat Selection’ is determined by your group’s average membership number:

• The mathematical formula: The system will add together the membership numbers of all eligible group members and divide the total by the number of members.
• The resulting number: The final mathematical average will determine the exact date and time of your seat-selection appointment on the calendar.
• Once the group-formation period has ended (from October 30 onward), the system will centrally process all applications to calculate the appointments. You will be assigned an appointment and notified by email in advance of the exact date and time to attend ‘Phase 2 – Seat Selection’.
